Ore wa.... Yokai.
A monster. That's all I am, all I have been and all I ever will be. Monster, the label I've been given for my entire endless life. I looked down to the ocean. The midnight blue waves that reflected the moonlight flowed just below me. I extended my hand down to the waves as I glided. My fingers split the dancing waves, sending a trail of splashes behind me. The ice cold sea water felt good as it flickered at my arm. I pulled my self together and dived into the water. The slick water chilled my body, but I felt nothing. That was one of the advantages of what I was. I lifted myself out of the water and started gliding above it again. The wind dried my clothes, even on a winter night like tonight. I landed in the beaches shallows and silently walked out of the them. The soft beach sand crumpled beneath my feet as I walked towards the stairs that led me off of the beach. Aika's body had been laid to rest only meters from where I was standing. My despicable weapons attached to my back turned heavy, heavy as steal. Even so, I still managed to hover to her grave. Moss had began to cover the head stone and a few chips and cracks had shown that time was passing. Her family and friends never agreed to our love, nor did I. As much as I tried to keep my distance from the girl, she just kept appearing. But I knew it would never be possible for us to be together. A monster without his own personal soul could never learn how to love. "Stay strong Kaito" The wind whispered to me in Aika's voice. My wings sunk into my back and I fell to the ground. I still had no idea how to live after killing Aika.
