I walked out of room A-12. Instantly, I saw that a crowd had gathered near the bathroom doors. Hikari's voice echoed the loudest over all the other students. She was shouting at someone, cursing at them to the high heavens. The girl from early was with her posse were among the crowd, they were laughing. Hikari's mystery victim hissed at her, the crowd hushed. One of the bathroom doors slammed shut. The students of W.L.P.H.S faded away from the ordeal. Even though the crowd had dissolved, the blonde beauty and her friends were still left snickering at Hikari. She was left at the boys' bathroom door banging on it, her skin greyer, her eyes a brighter blue, her hair a darker one. "Come out of there right now, you pussy!" She shouted baring her teeth at the door. Hikari spun around to face me. An evil grinned grew as wide as the grand canyon. "You're clearly immortal Kaito, I'm not sure about male but I'll have to take a chance with that one. Get him out of there!" She grabbed my wrist and effortlessly dragged me to the bathroom door, ignoring my protests. I looked at her, she gave me a look that said 'What the fuck are you waiting for? The grass to grow?' I let out a sigh and pushed on the bathroom door, it swung open. "Hello?" I said into an empty bathroom. The noise from outside had vanished. "Go away," a cold chill ran through my spine as a boy spoke darkly from the end cubicle. I walked towards it, my heart beat unconsciously slowing. "I said 'Go away'" The voice hissed poison at me. "I'm not leaving." I protested. Then, I thought to myself, why was I protesting? "You lie," the voice softer then before, "everyone leaves eventually." I stayed quiet, leaning against the wall, crossing my arms. At the exactly right time, the bathroom door swung open quietly. A boy walked half way in. I glared at him and he walked back out quickly. A loud sigh came from the cubicle on my left. The lock clicked. My heart stopped without me noticing. A blood red haired boy widened puffy, red rimmed black eyes at me. We were staring right at each other, noses barely a few inches apart. The sore black eyes softened slightly only to gain a confused look. He leaned closer and raised his hand to my jugular, delicately pressing two pale finger against it. There was no pulse. The boy stumbled backwards, “Who are you?” He stuttered, “what are you…?” I pressed my eyes shut and concentrated. A tingling sensation went through my body, from my chest to my finger tips. Blood was flowing through my body once more. I took a deep breath, “My name is Kaito,” I opened my eyes and looked straight into his, “and I am an experiment.” The boys eyes widened in fright. “Now tell me, who and what are you?” I smiled at him.

Blueberry
My first subject was pastoral care. I had no idea what it could be. Ryu and Kairo had been put into separate classes too, so I was all alone. I walked into class room C-7 the chair had been set out into a circle and many students had already taken their places. The blonde girl from earlier was sitting down with a group of girls crowding around her. They were all laughing at another girl who was sitting alone. The girl who was sitting alone had blueberry hair that was short and spiked. There were many empty chairs around her so I sat down next to her. She looked at me funny. I did my 'smolderer'. It's a look that Kairo named. Her face twisted and she began to laugh. I was confused. She extended a white lace gloved hand to me, "Hikari" she smiled. I shook her hand with a confused smile, "Kaito." She laughed once more and gave me the same funny look as we kept on shaking hands, which soon began to turn to an arm wrestle. Hikari looked almost 5'7 she was very tall for a girl compared to other girls at the school, she was also not as skinny as the other girls at the school. "YES!" Hikari boomed triumphantly as my arm slammed against the table. We both laughed and the girls at the other side of the circle scoffed. The teacher waltzed into class and smiled. He introduced me into the class and explained that we met here every morning and every Friday afternoon in the last period. My next subject was science in room A-12, it went by quickly.
West Lake Public High School
"You're kidding me right?" I grimaced. Kairo had directed Ryu, who was driving, all the way to hell. A giant sign was hanging on a fence, in big black letters it read "West Lake Pubic High School, a school for all breeds." The sign disgusted me. I hated school. Even worse, public public schools. "Out of the car!" Kairo commanded. We got out of Ryu's red ford and walked through the school's iron gates. All the students were silent and stared straight at us as we walked. Ryu and Kairo had sunk their ears and tails back into their bodies, they were in their human form. At any school, public or private, you had to keep your true form to yourself. Of course half the population of students didn't. A blonde girl who was wearing a pink shirt that had puffy shoulders that was tucked into to denim high waist shorts, snickered "Ew, what is the 'goth' boy wearing?" I assumed she was talking about me, I was wearing my black jeans and a black alexisonfire shirt with high-top black chuck Taylor's to match. Whilst Kairo was wearing a white long sleeve v-neck, with blue denim jeans and purple vans, and Ryu was wearing a dark blue coat and plaid white and grey board-shorts with Nike sneakers. Ryu and I followed Kairo through the school halls, we got more silent stares. Then Kairo skipped to a door and knocked on it. There was a golden plaque on the door that read Principle. The teak door opened to a balding man who wasn't smiling. "We're the new students sir!" beamed Kairo. The man huffed and shoved a pile of papers into Kairo's arms. "Here are your time tables. Talk to the ladies at the front desk if you need anything please. And enjoy your stay here at W.L.P.H.S" he gruffed and shut the door on Kairo's face. He stood their stunned, his silver hair covering his eyes. No one, ever talked to Kairo like that, the poor thing I though to myself. A smile filled Kairo's face once again and he turned to us. "Well lets get our books from the front desk and get started."

Goldfish.
"ROAD TRIP!" Kairo exclaimed. He was bouncing up and down on the spot. Ryu slammed his head against the table that he was reading the morning news on. I stared at Kairo dumbfounded, it was too early in the morning to even think about getting dressed. "Why are you both so mean to me?" he said, twiddling his thumbs. In an instant Ryu had a coat on and got the keys for the car. I continued staring like a goldfish. Kairo flattened his ears and quietly spoke "Please Kaito..."
"But Kairo, it's too early, I haven't even brushed my teeth yet." I protested. In a flash Ryu had got my tooth brush with tooth paste on it and thrusted it into my hands. I scowled at him, why must he be such a slave to him? "It's totally not early Kaito! It's like almost 11 o' clock." Kairo folded his arms and looked away from me, in same direction the clock happened to be in. And it was. It was almost 11 o' clock. I lulled it over for a moment. Ryu's eyes glared sharply at me. If looks could kill, I think I'd probably be long gone. The dark pink and olive green eyes that were owned by Ryu pierced into my soul. "Fine" I muttered. Kairo squealed with joy. "So where are we going?" I said pulling a shirt over my black nest of hair. No one answered. Ryu just grabbed me by my ear and dragged me to his car.

Do you remember?
A familiar hand shook my shoulder violently. "Kaito, Wake up!" Kairo stared down at me with his lavender eyes. His white cat ears were fat and he looked scared. Ryu was sitting on his and Kairo's bed. His pupils had turned to slits and dark circles under his eyes meant I had woke him and he wasn't in a good mood. Like Kairo, his ears we're flat too, but his tail was shaking from side to side. "Sorry guys for waking you, it was nothing" I smiled brushing it off as if it was dust. Kairo's tail twitched. He'd known me for so long, it was impossible to lie to him. "You're full of bullshit." Kairo murmured and twitched his ear. "Well since I'm awake, I'm going for a walk." Before we could blink, Ryu had left the room. Then I realised it was still early hours in the morning since it was still dark outside. Kairo lied on my bed next to me. "Do you remember those nights at the orphanage when someone else got picked and not us?" He spoke softly letting his silver hair fall onto his face. I held his hand, the same hand that held my shoulder when I killed Aika. "Yes, yes I do." I said quietly. “What about the time when we first met each other?” Kairo whispered. In fact I did, “Yeah. Sister Namida paired us together in the same room when you first came to the orphanage. I was so happy when I finally had someone to share my room with. “ I smiled and closed my eyes. Kairo laughed and finished the story “I never understood why you had your own room when I first got their, I thought you were just like the rest of the humans. But I shortly realised you were different like me.”

Save her...
The black haired boy looked down at the burgundy haired girl that was lying in his arms. She was so fragile and the skin that you could see, that was not painted by blood, was pale white. Bruises of all colors had been scattered all over her small body. Her bones were fractured, broken and shattered. The boy moved a few strands of hair that were covering her face behind her ear. A waterfall of tears fell, from both of the lover's eyes. The boy's tears fell hard and heavy onto the girls face, while hers gracefully slid down her cheeks. The boys metal wings glistened in the darkness, covered with smears of blood. "You can't die on me Aika" he shouted at the doll that stared at him motionless apart from the tears that fell from her eyes. "She's not going to, you know what the power of your tears have" A small boy spoke wearing a scarf and beret that matched his eyes from the shadows of the near by forest. The boy also had blood all over himself, but no wounds. His pupils were slits and his ears and tail were all fluffed up. "Kairo, what do I do?" The black haired boy pleaded towards the forest. The boy stepped from the shadows and whipped his damp silver hair from his eyes. "Take her out of her misery and pain Kaito; you know you're the only one who can save her." Kairo whispered not taking his eyes off the girl. "Save her..." Kaito sighed to himself, draping his black hair around his face. He knew what the silver haired boy meant, he had to kill her. A warm paw from out of know where with its claws protracted held against his shoulder. "Stay strong, Kaito" Aika exhaled with a flood of blood as Kaito lifted his arm-...

Ore wa.... Yokai.
A monster. That's all I am, all I have been and all I ever will be. Monster, the label I've been given for my entire endless life. I looked down to the ocean. The midnight blue waves that reflected the moonlight flowed just below me. I extended my hand down to the waves as I glided. My fingers split the dancing waves, sending a trail of splashes behind me. The ice cold sea water felt good as it flickered at my arm. I pulled my self together and dived into the water. The slick water chilled my body, but I felt nothing. That was one of the advantages of what I was. I lifted myself out of the water and started gliding above it again. The wind dried my clothes, even on a winter night like tonight. I landed in the beaches shallows and silently walked out of the them. The soft beach sand crumpled beneath my feet as I walked towards the stairs that led me off of the beach. Aika's body had been laid to rest only meters from where I was standing. My despicable weapons attached to my back turned heavy, heavy as steal. Even so, I still managed to hover to her grave. Moss had began to cover the head stone and a few chips and cracks had shown that time was passing. Her family and friends never agreed to our love, nor did I. As much as I tried to keep my distance from the girl, she just kept appearing. But I knew it would never be possible for us to be together. A monster without his own personal soul could never learn how to love. "Stay strong Kaito" The wind whispered to me in Aika's voice. My wings sunk into my back and I fell to the ground. I still had no idea how to live after killing Aika.
